Not to mention the added leverage of a currency purchased at fractions of a penny for most of its history and that is currently valued at $284. So it's even more profitable if you mine it or were an early adopter. Also its superior characteristics in regard to international trade such as instant transfers with no charge backs, transfer fees, middlemen etc.
The USD is basically like a bernie madoff security. Its being pumped and then dumped on the rest of the world by the shovelful. They've had to swallow it because of petrodollar hegemony, but we are in steep decline so thats not going to be a factor forever.
