Super nope on that erratic blog. He's not "deflating peoples(sic) excitement for things." He's offering examples of the scientific method. Observing that Pluto is not a planet and the uninformed cult of "planet Pluto" catching feelings doesn't make anyone a "huge prick." If people are so emotionally invested in superstition, that's they're problem. When they try to make it a problem for anyone else (fighting against teaching evolution, fighting against climate change, a literal danger), they're beyond huge pricks, idiotic fascists.
It's unfortunate to see you take the side of someone you think is a "right wing lunatic."

With all this stuff in space now, did they ever determine how far out in space you must be to be to be spaced out?
