ParEcon sounds like socialism. The only problem with capitalism is how governments protect it as an exclusive property right rather than an equal property right. Nobody deserves a monopoly on anything. Everyone should be entitled to profit from whatever they produce with their own property. This is essential not only to the free market being free but to the people being free. Capitalism is the one and only liberty that enables individuals to be financially independent and self reliant.

The specific intent of parecon, or any form of libertarian socialism for that matter, is to ensure each worker gets to keep what they produce.

Right now, the market decides what is fair... So I'm not worried about the potential for corruption. It really can't get more unfair than this.
