I don't play PC games but decided to download DOTA 2 on steam. Meh, I guess. Could be a good time waster if I'm bored.

the original witcher is 1.50 on GOG.com right now, which is all drm free good-old-games (and some new ones). witcher 2 is 3 bucks. spend a dollar and you get simcity 2000 for free too lol

to be fair to phosphide, spider, you were ripping his head off for no reason
that said mobas are indeed terrible
and there's a lot more games for pc... https://infogr.am/Video-Games-Published-per-Platform interesting, although im sure 90% of the games for android/ios are just terrible. the biggest games for mobile are microtransaction "free to play" horrible shit games that need to DIAF. and yeah there's a lot of pc ones that are bad, but there's so many options for pc
this fall steam is coming out with steam link ($50) and steam controller ($50). the controller has a mousepad on it. steam link hooks up your computer to your tv wirelessly and streams games. since it's over your home network at like 10gig a sec your beefy computer can render everything in 1080p and way better than a console can. you can use wired peripherals as well hooked up into it. what this will allow is for you to play just about any game on your tv (and steam streams non-steam games as well, already). the only things left for consoles then are a few select games that are exclusive to those platforms, otherwise, these types of things will be killing them entirely

i don't know why mobas make me and so many others so angry but i had to stop playing league for my own mental health. it just wasn't healthy getting so angry for so long over nothing.
