Hmm I find this idea very intriguing though I have to say I'm having a hard time believing candidates couldn't figure out where the money's coming from. That said, it certainly is a unique approach and it does solve the basic problem.

True that. Although, doesn't public funding sort of do the same thing?

Not really sure how decreasing transparency helps solve the problem.
Also, how exactly are candidates supposed to fundraise if they can't coordinate with their donors? The occasional person will just randomly give money. The vast majority do so because they were asked or are attending an event.
