Hong Kong where lone police officer is hunted like prey

A video clip in the following link shows a group of masked rioters moving cautiously like hunters towards a building after alighting from a bus in Hong Kong on Tuesday 1st October. Their target was soon shown to be a lone police officer. The policeman tripped while trying to flee from the group of masked attackers. They fell upon him like a pack of wolves, attacking him with iron rods and other weapons. One of the masked men was holding a hammer. Another policeman rushed to rescue his fallen colleague but he was attacked by a masked rioter. In the confusion, the policeman fired his gun in self-defence.

I have suggested in a previous post that every Hong Kong policeman should be armed with at least two cameras to photograph any incident as evidence for his own protection.

As the rioters have become increasingly violent as a result of US "predatory" moves, the authorities should release any evidence (e.g. film footage) as justification for the police officer's last resort in using his gun for self-defence.

In the current dangerous situation in Hong Kong, law enforcement officers should be doing their duty in groups of 3 or more, otherwise they are risking their lives in the line of duty.

I have been considering doing a fundraiser inspired by that Taiwanese guy, who is buying gas masks and filters and sending them to Hong Kong.

I would also not be opposed to sending over pepper spray and other defensive measures, but I'd have to check on the legality of that.

And if a Western nation or two starts sending over intelligence officers to teach the protesters "self-defense" tactics, I'd be cool with that. They seem to be doing well enough on their own, for the most part, but it would be a great time to teach them the ins-and-outs of medieval infantry warfare, since those are the weapons they have access too.

Anything that can be done to undermine the Chinese government and threaten their ability to exert control over Hong Kong, without escalating to direct military conflict, should be done. Propaganda (both traditional and cyber), defensive, safety and humanitarian aid, as well as increased coordinated sanctions would be great.

It is one of those times when interfering with another countries affairs just makes sense. China must be humiliated, in an attempt to have them react in order to save face, so we can humiliate them again. And so on and so forth, until the lesson is learned or we are obliged to crush them utterly and without effort.

Without humility there is no learning, and until they recognize that the Communist Party debases their legacy and ancestry, that humility cannot exist.

Sending pepper spray and gas masks to Hong Kong, and letting our superior martial artists spread the Gospel in "China," is equivalent to driving two airplanes into high-rise office buildings?
