There were initial reports of at least 20 victims down amid an active shooter incident at a center for people with developmental disabilities in San Bernardino on Wednesday, according to a police official.

The call first came in at 10:59 a.m. of multiple shots fired from the area of 1365 S. Waterman Ave., San Bernardino Police Department Lt. Richard Lawhead said. The department’s SWAT team was training nearby and was suited, “ready to roll” and responded rapidly, Lawhead said.

There were reports of at least 20 victims, Lawhead initially told KTLA. In a separate interview, the lieutenant confirmed there were multiple victims.

...

Witnesses told police that they saw three men with long rifles get into a black SUV and exit the parking lot, CNN reported, citing a law enforcement source.

More mass shootings this year than there are calendar days in a given year.

But it's all good blood, just buy some more guns so that you're safe against the tyranny of the government and the thugs on the street yo.

only depending on definition, and even if so, it's been like that since forever. the only difference is that now they are increasingly not gang or family-related, even though that's almost all cases still

they suspects opened fire on a conference in the facility, not people in wheelchairs. it was an outside group renting the hall

which says to me personal vendetta/workplace violence, or, because the group that rented it was some social agency, some type of political thing. that three people are involved it seems more likely political.

The shooting was first reported at about 10:59 a.m. at the Inland Regional Center, 1365 South Waterman Avenue. The gunfire erupted in a conference room being rented by an outside group, according to Maybeth Fields of the Inland Regional Center. She said she was not aware of which outside group, but another worker told reporters he believed the group was a San Bernardino County public agency.

Not good, I'm curious if this will remain three shooters or narrow down to one as many of the other shootings have done. I'll be interested to see more information on this one as to the motivation if it is a group.

Regardless, it is terrible for all involved. I hope the best for those who will recover and for the families of those who won't.

when they said the target, another soft target with no defenses, i thought, crazy person wanting to kill people because they think they are the joker or whatever. but once they said there are three masked people... that's different than all the other ones we hear about on the news. well except for like, paris

ak47s
explosives left on scene
soft target
christmas party

guess what i won't be surprised this is
