I wonder if someone would call that art exhibit some kind of impressive. But it could be impressive if it wouldn’t be so disgusting. Ti-Rock Moore is not an artist, she’s a provocator.
In my opinion, the death of Mr.Brown was just one of the examples of social instability that caused more destabilizing. And we had many cases like that as Garner’s or Gray’s murders, all these cases could be summarized in some greater piece of art, but this is a piece of crap I can’t even call an art.

I'll admit it, I had to google Michael Brown.

And Dave while you might not like it, it doesn't make it not art.

What good is art if it doesn't provoke emotions?

It provokes not emotions but some collective thinking. Brown wasn't the first and not the last. His death provoked masses to take to the streets and destroy their own town.
So, if you call it art, how do you like it? What element of the expat you liked most?

They left out the blood and brain matter. Rip off!

Art exhibit of Michael Brown. What's next? Art exhibit of police lawlessness acts? I will not be surprised. To my mind, this is immoral and disgusting.

As a self-styled art snob I'll criticize this piece because it's not particularly thoughtful and doesn't have any intellectual depth. It's what one would call a "one-liner" which lacks any real secondary or tertiary depth of thought. In layman's terms, it's kind of lame and a wannabe provocative piece which grasps for the lowest of hanging fruit in the most obvious manner possible.

Edit: oh shit, thread necromancy. I feel cheated now.
