Three gay men were married in Thailand -

They look happy and are dressed smartly. Sort of like something you'd imagine Saz or Dylan wearing to prom. All the luck in the world to them making a go of a marriage with the "three's a crowd" thing hanging over it.

I've always been against alternate unions being described as marriage. Civil unions?... yes. Since the slippery slope has been slid down do we envision human/beast marriage becoming a recognized form of marriage. How about two men and two women being married. I know these types of "arrangements" already exist. But will there be open ceremonies? And how long until those crowded marriages and its adherents demand state recognition and matrimonial rights. Maybe I can marry an inanimate object. Who's to tell me I don't really love that Elvis on velvet painting. People have sex with cars. Why can't I marry and hump velvet Elvis?

Do we need legislation limiting the type of marriage now that people are taking the concept to new places?

So long as the marriage is between adults with the ability to consent, all should be allowed.

I'm not sure polygamy is taking marriage to new concepts or places... maybe being they're all the same sex.

Honestly this will be filed under the I really don't care what others do that have little/no impact on my own life.

Why do you care jimmy?

Small government conservatives like to tell people how to live. it's trite, but small enough to fit into your bedroom seems to make sense here.

Jimmy wants the NSA to record everything you do and the government to tell you what you can do in your personal life. That's a modern small government conservative if there ever was one.

You miss the point. This is the start of a perversion of same sex marriage into many other types of unions to come.

Once marriage means nothing it can mean anything.
