If we want to discuss the rape issue specifically, we can start a thread about it and have no call to mention guns at all.

What has that got to do with what I just said? Don't you recall that there has already been an AWB, and sans any sort of constitutional amendment?
It was completely ineffectual and didn't actually do anything to reduce crime, but it did happen.
