Sigmund Freud defined four parts of a psyche; the id, the ego, the superego and the stratego. The Stratego being the highest form of morality and scientific thinking.

This incident is likely inspired violence in movies. Katniss Everdeen is the Scarface of modern times.

Didnt specify what kind of bow and arrow type weapon, was it a bow bow, crossbow or something else?
If I recall one of the members here has a crossbow for self defense. Forgot who it was.

From what little I can gather, this sounds more like a personal murder/suicide than a random shoot 'em up. Seems as though the professor's wife was also killed a couple of blocks away from the college before the attacker killed the professor then himself.
