Basically, Schiff was right, but for the wrong reason. He believed that the market would crash due to hyperinflation. Basically Schiff didn't get the memo that Austrian economics doesn't make predictions.*
* Because Austrian economics rejects empirical analysis.

And how do you define "doing worse?" For that matter, how do you define "doing better?" I don't consider my neighbor, up to his eyeballs in debt so he can provide a pretty shiny new car to this 3 teenage sons, to be doing too well, but that's just me.
