Basis for this opinion?

Americans are being evacuated from Erbil. Chevron is pulling out everyone, US Consulate staff are being taken out of the country.

It's afro-american you racist. This isn't 1992 man, grow up

Afro-American is the new PC term now?

We prefer just "Afro"

So if you're no longer part of the club, you'd prefer "afro-listed" over "african-american listed" like Comrade suggested or even "black-listed"?

So long as we have labels that we attach to people based on skin color, we will not truly be equal.

I say the west should not get involved in the whole drawing arbitrary lines on a map in the Middle East again. The reason the that region sucks is Europeans did just that, which has lead to disasterous results.

This is something the Sunnis, Kurds, and Shia are going to have to figure out, or fight it out. The second option most likely happening. I'm most sympathetic towards the Kurds, but I don't see them getting their own nation, that's if the Iranians and Turks have a say about it.
