What im getting at is the men died in an act of blow back. Were they bad people, i dont know, is the story true, thats not as important on why they died.

Im a nobody, with a nobody opinion screaming into the dark of night. Anybody can come a long and pick apart what someone says, but the horrors of what is true still stand festering at the soul of good people.

kinda want yall's take on this little though...I think the case can be made that with the invasion of Iraq the US became "the bad guy" or at least will be viewed by history as such.

We did in the Middle East, which was the last thing we needed to do at that juncture.

Even more mind-blowing is that we had the world behind us after 9/11--they even held a candlelight vigil in Tehran, of all places--but President Cheney took that event as his cue to unleash his pent-up military aggression and Supreme Leader executive powers, turning everybody against us after 9/11.

That's pretty hard to do.

Actually the sad thing is watching him on Showtime like last week where he was defiantly unapologetic, believes he made no mistakes and states if he had to do it all over again, he would do exactly the same.

Which, coincidentally, sounds like what Saddam Hussein was saying in his last days.

Nothing like "liberating" a country where only 100,000+ had to die (plus 4,400 Americans) which is to this day completely in shambles and heavily influenced by Iran--all after you did everything in your (executive) power to con your citizens into thinking Iraq had something to do with 9/11.

When it comes to incompetence and blundering, that track record is just epic.
