What did peasants eat in Medieval times?
Posted: Wed Nov 28, 2018 5:36 pmWhat did medieval peasants eat? Mostly nothing. Life expectancy was about 30 years...weaken people with malnutrition then disease got to finish them off. Pretty sure they usually weren't feasting on fresh fish and veg with nice crusty bread. Maybe the local nobles come along and steal 3/4 of the harvest of whatever you've been scratching out of the dirt all year.
Then...everybody starts developing these weird black swelling things all over their bodies and starts slaughtering the cats for being satanic....
