Gustavas Adolphus...pioneer of the modern unit driven military system. Probably single-handedly changed the course of the Catholic/Protestant wars in Europe. He also led most battles personally that he was involved in. This led to his unfortunate demise on a particularly foggy night when he rode into the wrong camp.
