He was not observed by two FBI agents. Two FBI agents wrote a report that detailed claims made by others, but there was no actual observation on their part.

Good catch..

Lots of people still think that Hitler and his ideas are awesome, bill

The same could be said for Elvis as well. Interestingly enough, he's still spotted on a regular basis, just like Hitler.

As I said on page 1, they regularly shop at my Winn Dixie! I'll see if I can get a selfie with them next time.

How much would a selfie with Hitler and Elvis go for on eBay? More than the Virgin Mary on toast? Nah, probably not.

There's dozens of documents at that link detailing all kinds of reports.J Edgar Hoover thought he was hiding out in Switzerland, according to one letter in the collection.

Check this place out Mr Bill:

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Villa_Baviera

fomerly known as Colonia Dignidad and was known to have sheltered Mengele after the war. Later they were associated with the Pinochet regime. Who knows who else could of passed through here? This place still exists under a new name. Pretty interesting subject matter, if you are a WWII buff like I know you are.

The interesting thing is that a place like this could really only exist because of people sympathetic to nazism in some right wing regime, many of which were quite extreme.

Another example of a famous nazi who escaped punishment was Otto Skorzeny who was hidden in Egypt by a former nazi general who was working with the CIA. The Egyptians were interested in using former nazi officers to train their officer cadres.

The world is a big place, and we we don't have it all figured out yet. A lot of history is just bunk.

Please don't compare Josef Mengele and Hitler. That's HUGE apples and oranges...No one knew who Mengele was until many years after the war, Hitler was instantly recognizable. 1000x harder for Hitler to get away than Mengele.

I brought that up pages ago, many of the minor German players had info and talents the Russians and the US wanted, so in some cases both sides looked the other way..But the top level Nazis, the inner circle they punished.. To let Hitler go, the top dog, makes no sense. There was NO upside.

You keep ignoring that fact, and bringing up minor Nazis.

.J Edgar Hoover thought he was hiding out in Switzerland, according to one letter in the collection.

Hoover thought? Hoover? You don't want to place your eggs in his basket? Do you?

It's been a fun discussion, but NOTHING you linked proves anything. The links are all conjecture, bogus eye witness reports that Hitler was seen alive by a friend, of a friend, of a friend, wild exaggerations(some by you), and conspiracy theories.

Hitler died in that bunker.

I don't think he did, or the soviets would have had his body. they conducted an intense investigation and effort to locate the remains

All we have is eyewitness testimony, and that is as true of the official explanation as the various alternative theories. It is probably safer to say "I don't know what happened to Hitler" than it is to say "Hitler died in a bunker, or lived in the Andean foothills, or made his way to Brazil, etc."

Actually after the fall of the USSR there were reports from the KGB, and others that the Soviets DID have Hitlers body, and Ava Brauns... They buried it after the war, but were afraid the grave would be found, so they dug it up, cremated it, then scattered it in a river.. This plus the eye witness accounts from the bunker... Plus Hitler made it very clear he wasn't going to be captured alive and suffer the same fate as Mussolini, or be put on show by the Russians.. Chances of escaping a surrounded city without being recognized and/or wounded and captured were less than thin.

It all adds up to a 99.9% chance he died in the bunker.. If you want to hold onto the .1% chance? Ok..
