Unless we act to take back our rightful heritage, which is life itself.

Bwahahaha - he said "a nation . . . expanding its sphere of influence . . . that relies on . . . guerrillas by night, instead of armies by day".

This is the same guy that set up Bay of Pigs. And secretly took our nukes out of Turkey, while publicly taking credit for "staring down" the Ruskies in the Caribbean. That trotted out his wife in public, while boinking Marilyn Monroe in private.

Come on - JFK was a friggin' joke.

Now, his speech-writers, on the other hand, should have gotten an Oscar nomination, at least.

I actually heard a really good argument from Joe Kennedy about why he broke with his constituents on the NSA issue. He pointed out that phone companies keep these records as well, and it would be a poor idea to prevent the government from EVER collecting the sort of records private companies routinely keep.

So actually, Kennedy might not agree with you on this one

well, if a company has records of its own customers thats one thing. You can't really do anything political with that. on the other hand if the state has records from all companies and backdoors and controls built into all communication, financial, and industrial technology and has shown a willingness to adopt a policy like this:

thats an entirely different kettle of fish
