The Germans were, man for man, the most effective fighting soldiers of WWII. Thankfully, the allies had the numbers, the logistics and the intelligence capabilities to make up for this deficiency.

the nazis routinely marched into battle with their heads firmly planted up their asses. i mean you won the battle of britain mostly through german incompetence. they had a new take on armor and an interesting chain of command and it completely failed when it mattered the most.

Oh yeah, I forgot to mention incompetent strategic leadership.

In the Battle of Britain, German had much more experienced pilots, but we had the advantage of radar and fighting over our own ground (so pilots shot down could parachute down and go straight back into Battle), whereas German pilots were taken prisoner, even so it was a close-run thing. The German soldiers on the front line, notwithstanding their ideologically hidebound and incompetent top brass, where much more efficient and capable of doing more with less than their allied counterparts.

First, all sides used drugs of all types during the war. It's no big secret.

Next, for you history buffs may I suggest you read "The Ultra Secret" by F.W. Winterbotham.
To err is human. To forgive divine. Neither of which is Marine Corps policy.

The Germans were a land army. They were never a sea power. Britain was never seriously at risk from German invasion, especially after the entrance of USSR into the war. At most a few of their colonies were at risk. The only other powers capable of matching the Royal Navy in numbers, expertise, doctrine and technology were the Japs and the US.
And yeah I thought it was a well known fact that the Nazis were big meth fans, not only among the soldiers. Wasn't Hitler completely addicted by the end of the war?

had germany gained air superiority over britain they may not have even needed to invade. they could have forced them to surrender. although if they did choose to go down the invasion route i doubt the royal navy could handle being bombed into oblivion.

Bad leadership = bad leadership, regardless of what drugs you have. Look at what bad leadership is doing to this country, and we have plenty of kick ass drugs.

The Germans screwed up by not bombing chain home radar into oblivion, shifting attention to
London and away from airfields.. They also screwed up by opening a second front with Russia.
