This is one of the top Google returns for "political crossfire". If possible, we should get a link to this site in the answer rather than the whiny liberal rant that is currently there. I will leave that up to the staff's discretion though.

Is a chat feature planned?

Hey all sorry about the lack of updates since Monday. Rest assured changes are still being made. I'll update on the public ones in the OP and bump this thread when I get stuff done.

Also, DNS issues are resolved for now. We were apparently moved to a new server IP and I had no clue they do that kind of thing without a request. I will be making another DNS update late Saturday night, however there should be no interruption of service this time. Regardless of what "should" happen, I will still put up a announcement Friday giving notice of DNS changes upcoming.

The limit of 3 embedded quotes is annoying. Not because I want to embed more, but because then I have to manually remove the innermost quote, which is a pain. It sounds small, but for a fledgling site trying to grow users by encouraging debate, which relies on quoting, it can make a difference. We should either disable the limit or have it automatically remove the innermost quote.

I'll up the limit to 5 on the quotes. However, anything more than that is pretty unnecessary so the limit is not likely to be removed. I don't think people want to look at a post and see 100 lines of quotes then see one sentence from a person in response

I'll look into having the quotes stripped automatically after reaching the limit but its going to be near the bottom of things to look into until we get all of the features active on the board that we are looking into such as an "Invite Friend" mod, chat mod, new themes, etc.

Is it at all possible that a quote will only quote the last 5 quotes instead of everything forcing us to go back and delete stuff?

Also, multi-quotes for different posts?

is it possible to make the quote boxes darker?
