Crime is crime. crime against a certain group is no more/less serious then crime against any other group. When we start placing groups above others for any reason, division grows and we lose. End of story.

Many high profile libs rushed to condemn whomever they could and call for legislation in the wake of this incident without waiting for evidence or facts to come out. They have egg on their face and deserve it.
The exaltation of victimhood demands such rushes to judgment though. It's a symptom of this disease infecting our society.
