TLDR: any dialogue you could have will always and forever favour maintaining the status quo, and any attempt to change that dialogue will be met with either lines at gun stores or a total refusal to engage in discussion.

Meh, there are things that can be done that don't entail bans that quite a few gun owners would go along with. I will admit the deep distrust is a bigger problem to overcome with quite a few and hence the no compromise by many. Bans will fuel that.

Start with requiring all private sales/transfers to go through a FFL and please quit calling it the gun show loophole. Believe it or not most gun owners don't want "bad" gun owners as they're as big of a threat to our rights as anything.

Enforce current laws - put some resources into making sure the background check database is as complete as possible. That the Texas shooter slipped through the cracks was gross negligence on the military's part.
Be damn sure domestic violence/restraining order people are disarmed. Do something about inner city poverty and gangs, these people need help and education.

Longer-term I think a move towards registration/licensing (not bans) of semi-autos with a detachable magazine could work and possibly handguns as well, though I see considerably more resistance with them atm, even though they're the real problem statistically.

Problem is IDK how one identifies the guy's who are gonna lose it after they own firearms, short of banning everything and that's not going to happen anytime soon, so address what we can.

my uncle was telling me about this FFL he had to deal with because he bought a gun online and had it shipped to him. he paid the guy 20 bucks, and he got him the gun

he basically described psholtz's and spidermonkey's love child. i think we may need better regulations about FFLs as well

ahhhhh shiiiiiit back to the twitter wars

they removed all the UI stuff from the screenshot and added a date, time, and location to the pictures... which are stills from a video game. they've said it was a "mistake" and they put the wrong picture up. lmao

Reminds me of Modern Warfare.

Just open an account and paste in your PCF posts. You've basically been tweeting all along.

That is basically all electric media, it just has different names.

It’s depressing for sure but if you take to drink on your days off and just focus on your house, chores, etc the life of an ignoramus is quite enjoyable but only just for the weekends.

I've mostly been blanking out the news all week. It's just the whole country pointing fingers at each other for their various deviant sexual behaviors. Basically it's all blurred together into a bunch of fingers and sweaty middle aged rich men, throbbing and pulsing and making noise.

Bring on that Alabama senate vote. That's the sort of throbbing and stupidity I'm interested in.
