I can almost understand the flag thing given he was a Navy Seal Commander and is probably big on pomp, but jesus coins too.

well they used to do that kind of crap everywhere and yeah it came from the navy. you know, so you could see who was on what ship. it's not exactly easy to go walk up to a ship and knock. and bunch of people got all jealous of it and so they made their own flags. it's why there is a flag for the interior secretary -- he didn't invent it
