The reports were that Spicer left after finding out who his replacement would be. I don't think he's too fond of the guy - and yes, apparently this dude has some potentially bad roots.

In regard to Sessions the DOJ's quick pennies on the dollar settlement of the Prevezon lawsuit is still flying under the radar. Before his abrupt firing Preet Bharara was less than a week away from showing in court how Russian money was laundered through the U.S. The suit involved quite a few familiar names and entities that keep coming up in another investigation for instance, Magnitsky, Hermitage, the Russian attorney that met with Junior to talk about "adoptions". The suit and sanctions were Russian government priorities, and now Sessions allegedly met with Kislyak to talk relations?
