In general we give the executive too much blame or credit, but I think most of us (one exception obviously) know that already.

So I know you guys are mostly interested in talking about Trump making a dick of himself in the exact same manner he's been doing for a year now, but could we perhaps address something about the actual next President?
Clinton is obsessed with using bellicose language about Russia, seemingly as part of her domestic political strategy. This is alarming to me. Are we heading to Cold War 2.0 under a Clinton Administration? While Donald Trump has been playing the lunatic to Clinton's sober adult-in-the-room constantly, Clinton seems every bit as maniacal specifically when Russia is mentioned. It's alarming.

Well Russia is our primary geopolitical opponent outside of SE Asia and has been actively countering our interests on 4 continents and attempting to influence our elections through cyber attacks soooooo I'd kinda hope we have a POTUS who will call the russkies out.

None taken. Alas my points stand unchallenged. You must be a democratic, attacking the source but not the content.

My response would be that Russia's attempts to influence our election have been feeble and ineffective. I'm not offended by the principle of a pathetic attempt to torpedo Clinton by embarrassing Neera Tanden. After all, it's not like we don't have our own long history of actually influencing which leaders foreign nations choose.
But that said, we also have a history in America of elected officials accusing their political opponents of being willful agents or witless pawns of the Russian government, and it's a very bad part of our history. So no matter how much I dislike Trump, I think it is out of bounds for Clinton to suggest he's in league with Putin just because he speaks about Putin with the insight of a 2nd grader.

If they were actually disrupting our electoral process, I would be upset. If some e-mails revealing that the Clinton presidential campaign operated like a presidential campaign is the best they can do, I laugh at it.
