Do Americans really Agree With Trump on Illegals?

Postby SmithSmith » Wed Aug 19, 2015 4:11 am

Trump's plan essentially calls for securing the border, enforcing existing immigration laws and protecting American jobs.

A Reuters poll found Americans, by an almost 3 to 1 margin, wish to see immigration reduced, not increased; 45 percent want to see a reduction, 17 percent want to see an increase and 38 percent say it should stay the same.

I can't even imagine how the people would vote if they understood more about illegal immigration and the way it's destroying our culture. Believe me, the numbers would skyrocket in the 'please, deport them all immediately' category. It's so sad that too many know too little about this topic. For instance, they don't know how the tax laws are that are hurting them and helping illegals. And many other horrible things.

I agree with the Trump stance on illegal immigration however I'm sure it's not quite possible to deport them all back to the countries they came from. We need to understand how to integrate the best ones and try to deport the worst ones.

I find it difficult to say this, but I agree with Mr. Trump that if we do not have control of our borders we do not have a country.

Mr. Trump is not on my short, or long, list of those that I support to be the GOP's Presidential candidate. He does, however, have my support to stir the crap out of this election cycle's debate.

They will self-deport when Trump tanks the economy.

You don't have to deport them all at once. You can take your time. Hopefully self-deportation will aid in the process. We just have to be serious about securing the border and enforcing the law.

All they are doing is insuring a permanent underclass by encouraging illegal immigration. Like I said, sanctuary cities are becoming the landfills of humanity. Plugging the hole is a bit overdue. Like a ship sitting on the bottom, its to late to fix the hole in the hull.

It might be too late but at least Trump is willing to go down swinging. I don't think it's too late though, I think that is what the left wing wants Americans to think so they just resign themselves to following along with The Narrative.

There's just so much fail here.

To what degree has immigration, legal or otherwise, affected our culture negatively? Do you recall this country originally being a nation of migrants?

And tax laws hurting them? These migrants pay for several things through sales tax and other consumption based taxes without seeing any real benefit because of their legal status. They work jobs that no other American's are willing to at that wage, and they vastly improve our demographics through fertility rates and household formation.

Xenophobic man.

At what point would you say we have control of our border?

Define that goal/endpoint for us. And tell us what would get us there.
