Please enlighten me, how was Jeb Bush personally responsible for any of the decisions of the Ieaq war?
Oh wait, he wasn't. He was the govoner of Flordia until 2007.

He wasn't. AND I NEVER SAID HE WAS. Are you talking to somebody else, bro?

You are attempting to link Jeb to the whole neocon cabal that played a direct role in the decision to invade Iraq.
You're pretty much trying to throw as much shit against the wall, hoping some of it sticks to cover your poorly concocted argument. Typical Indy.

Your rants are becoming more unfocused every time you launch into them.
I recommend Lumosity.com, or something along that line.

No I am not--you are attempting to build a strawman.

Oh, here comes the chest-puffing and dick-stroking again. Refreshing.

ISIS would of happened regardless because Syria has turned into such a god awful place.

I like what you did here:

a) assign blame to Obama

I blamed Obama for not negotiating a deal to keep a small force of US soldiers. He was POTUS, he gets the blame. This has nothing to do with who was at fault for the war in the first place. (everyone and their dog knows who to blame for Iraq) This entire thread is based off of two current candidates about a current issue.

b) say that ISIS would have happened regardless

Guess who just got absolved of any blame there? Neat trick. Obama has certainly made some missteps but let's not forget the two morons who got us into this historical disaster, invading a country that never needed to be invaded, with no plan, no clue, no nothing. And now look at it. And these same fools want to take over again, toss the Iran deal and start bombing them.

At one point do you say: enough of these idiots?

Read up about how ISIS is doing very well under former Iraqi generals.

Here's another story about how Iraqi officers are running the ISIS show.

This all goes back to 2003. Any attempt to claim it doesn't is folly.

ISIS grew out of Syria, obviously if we never invaded they might not have got as much territory as before with Saddam. You have to remember Assad came into power in 2000, which to me sounds like it would have happened regardless of the war in Iraq or not. They would still be fighting for the Islamic state of Syria.

he tried. Gates tried. Clinton tried. Hagel tried.

Iran and Turkey wanted us out, so Iraq wanted us out.

A small force of U.S. soldiers wasn't going to stop ISIS from happening. Here's where Obama gets his blame: for turning his back on Maliki upon taking office, whereas Dubya kept in touch with him. Would it have made the difference? Who knows. But Obama clearly wanted Iraq to go away and disengaged from Maliki and his gov't.

Put another way, Bush/Cheney's epic MILITARY and foreign policy bumbling caused this; Obama's POLITICAL bumbling afterward exacerbated (or accelerated) it.

Yet the fact remains: no Iraq disaster, nothing for Obama to bumble.

I'm not a Jeb guy, but Hillary has some f**k balls to go after Jeb because of his brother's foreign policy record when Hillary herself was a supporter of invading Iraq.

Yes, but Heb is twice as smart as his brother. The problem with W was he didn't know very much and wanted to seem "strong" so he was easily led in the wrong direction. Notice HW did an excellent job on foreign policy with many of the same advisors. Ultimately what matters most is who the buck stops with.

Besides, W had many of the same as HW so you would think they wouldn't have such a f**k up, and yet they did. Judge the leader not their minions.
