Nope. It's all meaningless. That any opinion otherwise originates from certain minds on these forums is of no surprise.

Those same polls you guys are quoting...

Your head is in the sand Kane. We are citing data showing that in the last 20 years (and probably longer than that) Americans have elected presidents who have a net positive trust rating. I have also cited data showing that Hillary Clinton has an unprecedentedly steep uphill battle on that count if she is to end up in the range where winning candidates find themselves.

Your evidence on the other hand is Clinton beating Bush in a poll conducted more than a year before the election.

I don't think anyone is saying that Hillaru is definitely going to lose, but you are in denial of you think these trust numbers are irrelevant.

This far out, almost everything is irrelevant.

You think McCain predicted the '08 economic collapse? Or how Sarah Palin would affect his campaign?

Don't quote a poll that says one thing and hold on high and then tell me I can't quote the same one and hold it just as high. Either they're both relevant or they both mean nothing at all.

It's stunning that people like Kane can't even come to grips with the fact she is unlikeable. I still think she will be the nominee, but holy shit I totally see how she can blow it now.

The fact that one can even see the possibility this time is astounding. At least in 08 there always a formidable field. This time she has to face off with:

1. Bernie Sanders - Goofy old white self-avowed socialist from f**k VERMONT who speaks with an abrasive accent, doesn't comb his hair, and only gets widespread media attention based on his proximity to Hillary's numbers.
2. Martin O'Malley - he is Tommy Carcetti from the Wire, except Tommy would have a better plan to make himself relevant. (Hint: Publicly announce you support legalizing weed - you have nothing to lose and you will be on the front page all across the country if you announce it well.)
3. Jim Webb - I follow and read political news and analysis at a higher rate than the average American. I just found out the other day that he's running. Sit down bro.

AND SANDERS IS STILL PUTTING UP RESPECTABLE NUMBERS AGAINST HER.

Accept it or put you head in the sand Kane, but this is not meaningless.

:)) spot on with the carcetti thing and yea, running on legalized weed and against the drug war as a white guy coming from Baltimore, he would instantly be a contender. I had no idea Webb was running either. The guy is so irrilivant I can't even remember who here is the Webb supporter (non maybe?, idk but there is one person pushing him).

I'm still hoping for Biden. Something tells me he is just waiting for Hillary to f**k up so he can jump in and immediately draw about level in the polls. DO IT FOR BEAU.

Kane is correct it's too far out to judge but this should be very concerning to Clinton supporters:

she could very well win the general and lose the election.

If she is not locked up by then. A possibility that seems to grow every day.
