i think my friends who were into cryptocurrencies lost a shit ton cuz they all stopped talking about the shit (as before, they wouldn't shut up about it) and they all started working again.

Bitcoin is down but bitcoin was old money by the time anyone knew about it. The cryptos are still profitable though IF you bought them with inflated BTC rather than USD. I haven't traded in them for a while now but I just checked my account and I'm from an initial investment of 1k USD i have ~850 USD left, but I took out 2K in profits way back when I traded. They have taken a shit though because my holdings were worth over 2K back then and it's ~850 now.
Worth holding long term though because who knows.
