Personally, I can't wait to see the Congress start sending things up to Obama, him vetoing them, and then the Dems start becoming the "party of no". Not that I'm particularly taking sides, but I just hate when people label one side for something that both sides do.
For years now, the GOP has been labeled as obstructionist and the "party of no". Yet, when they pass a bill (actually, numerous bills on various aspects) through the House to go ahead with the XL pipeline, what happens to it being heard in the Senate? "No." When the House passed HR 5272 (immigration bill), what happened in the Senate? "No."
I hope that Congress picks up all the bills that they tried to send to the Senate, pass them through the House on Jan 5, pass them through the Senate on Jan 7, and have them on Obama's desk that Friday evening.
