Christie is the GOPs best chance of winning a general election. But, he probably has the worst chances of winning a primary.

I've said it before and I'll say it again, we should get rid of primaries. Move to a system like here, where everyone runs, regardless of party. The top 2 vote-getters go to a runoff, assuming no one gets >50%.

I am hoping a third party emerges, there is currently alot of dissatisfaction with both parties right now. I think think the whole Snowden debacle has alienated alot of the left away from Obama. If the greens toned themselves down and rebranded I think they might have a shot.

A new party needs new players.All we seem to have now is a new club forming with the same ol players.Since im retired now, I thought of applying for the job myself. President Spacemonkey . Just the sound of that should throw a little shock and awe into the political world of assorted dumbassery,lol.

And the further the idiocy of the GOP and to prove they only want to talk to and present their ideas to their base on strictly conservative outlets today the RNC voted to boycott NBC and CNN over a movie/miniseries they plan on doing on Hillary Clinton..

Of course the news divisions of CNN and NBC have nothing to do with this series.. It's being done by CNN Films and NBC Entertainment, Sister companies of the news divisions..

But to further prove how F'ing crazy, and hypocritical the GOP now is.. Guess who might produce the miniseries? But of course there was no talk of a boycott against........................................................

You got it.. Fox.. That's right Fox Television Studios may produce the NBC miniseries.

I wonder why they won't boycott Fox? LOL

Anyway of course this could be an excuse for the GOP to use just to lessen the amount of debates during the primaries.. The GOP debates in 2012 were comical. It was a freak show.. This could be a way to put a lid on the crazies that are front and center on the GOP stage right now..

The debates the last time around did nothing more but supply the Dems with key points to slay Romney once he made it to the general election.

Why they want to hold endless primary debates to rip each other to shreds is beyond me.

I've always said that too: beware candidates who only want to scare you about what will allegedly happen if you vote for the other guy/gal--this usually indicates they have no plan of their own to govern.

I think to win parties will have to get more strategic internally. This means minimizing the amount of damage candidates do to each other in the primaries. The Dems seem a little less retard than the repubs and I am assuming their primaries will be substantially less heated than the repubs. The repubs seemed pretty doomed for a bit, but we'll see what potential candidates emerge. The repubs need a moderate to win.
