Crackers , cowboys in Florida who cracked their whips to drive the cattle across the waterways . How does this become pejorative ? Rednecks , white skinned people working in sunny climates with the unfortunate custom of wearing clothing for some weird sexual moral purpose that I have never deciphered . Funny but not a reason for pejorative use . Huero , a friendly/pejorative term often applied to me by my Mexican-American and illegal-invader friends and workmates in California , derived from Spanish for blond , warrior , which described the Celts , Visigoths , and Vandali who were the base of the Spanish requonquistas . People just need to grow up . And there is the southern accent mispronunciation of the Spanish Creol word negro(black) , which causes uncountable angst when spoken by pale skinned humans but figures prominently in (c)rap .

In current Mexican-American , huero means "white boy" , but it derives from the name the ancient Spanish gave to the Celtic and Germanic (often blond light skinned ) invaders of the more ancient Iberian's lands both before and after the Roman times . In current DNA based anthropological study it is known that about 80% of British ancestry is derived directly from Iberia at the end of the last ice age when northern regions became again habitable . My cousins and friends in California were part Spanish and part Amerind and in the case of Mexicans from ancestors from the central parts of Mexico who were mestizo , part African black . When the Spanish first made contact , and long before most Europeans ever entered the American lands , a wave of mass dying swept North and South America killing maybe 90% of the native peoples . In Mexico so many died of the Asian-African-European diseases that the Spanish imported African slaves in such numbers to replace the native laborers that for a time , the blacks outnumbered the reds , and when the Catholic Church disallowed slavery in the Spanish colonial empire , the freed blacks and the remnant reds in the peon labor pool interbred till the brown curly haired mestizo was the dominant physical type . My relatives , in-laws , children and cousins , nieces etc. include various Caucasoid types , Amerind , and Congoid ancestors but to most of my browner skinned buddies and work partners , I was huero , white boy .
