If you visit an establishment for a happy meal and end end with a skin graft instead something is definitely not right. If it happens once it's an anomaly, if it happens 700 times there's an issue that needs to be addressed.

How she held it doesn't have anything to do with the fact that it was a dangerous substance with the ability to cause 3rd degree burns and wasn't dispensed properly, causing over 700 similar injuries and at least one death.
If you are handing me something hot enough to kill me you better make sure I'm aware of that fact and not shove it at me through a drive through window. That's the seller's responsibility.

Seriously, although it's hard to nail down "cheeseburgers" as a single cause of a person's health problems, I've got to imagine that consuming McDs cheeseburgers has contributed to far more prolific and serious health problems than their hot coffee. Yet, no one has won multi-million dollar awards for McDs selling a product that, when consumed as served, is unhealthy.
