corporate taxes do need to be lowered. my company itself shelters much of our money in switzerland, as do many other companies. this money is just gone entirely, you're not even making 0% of tax receipts from them. corporate taxes should be lowered in order to encourage corporations to come to the us. i'm not saying zero, but they should be competitive. right now, with upwards of 39% federal corporate tax plus 12% state taxes, we have the highest in the world. a more reasonable level would be mid 20s to low 30s at the top end
