So, we decided to watch that Weiner doc.



Actually pretty damned good.

I now agree with Galt that this guy is definitely a narcissistic twerp. Though, it should be pointed out, this doc is extremely even handed and not at all a hit job. Weiner and his wife participated in it (during his 2013 mayoral race). Though of course, it begs the question...what reason could he have had for agreeing to this beyond narcissism?

One thing stood out...his wife Huma is simply awesome. And a knockout. And she could have been doing way better this whole time and is now far better off. That she hung around as long as she did is way above and beyond. He was flatly a dick to her multiple times in front of these cameras. f**k this guy.

Is that really what you took from the doc? Huma looks like shit throughout the whole thing. Weiner actually doesn't look as bad as his news stories would suggest. Huma though...useless social climber. Now I see why all the hillary conspiracy theorists hate her. Weiner on the other hand actually seems like a stand up guy with a lot of promise. Not often you see some skinny jewish looking guy firing up crowds of Jamaicans and really getting into waving the gay pride banner. Hilarious comparison between him at the parade and de blasio. This whole dick pic fiasco really comes across as a compulsion he just can't do anything about. You really can see how helpless he is with regard to the whole thing. Weiner is a fighter though and it's actually incredible he nearly overcame the first dick pic. Props to him for making a serious go at it.

All in all a sad story. Great guy with a huge fault that really seems out of his control. Huma though just seems like a spineless social climber, basically hillary but at least hillary seems to have a backbone and some fortitude. Huma is literally the meek useless wife. She doesn't even yell or get angry, just stands there with that look and sighing...how annoying.
