There is nothing arbitrary with what I said, EU has no common fiscal authority. That is fact.

Other than adding to your post count youre not saying much else.
By that logic then NAFTA would be considered a single economy as well.

That doesnt answer the question: is the EU a single economy like the US or a trading block like NAFTA.

It's in between. There's freedom of movement, but no unified policy.
The supercommissioner role mentioned in the other thread would be a step towards greater economic integration.
