The bitcoin itself is the entry in the public ledger. It solves a lot of problems that your "money out of nothing" induces. It just hasn't evolved enough to have a stable value.

Electric money, the future has arrived. No wait, it never gets here. However, right now will be history later. The little light comes on, or it don't. One thing about electrons though, they seem as infinite as our debt. Not enough trees left to print paper to cover it.
