1. Natalie Portman (For those not in the know - this is actually a sphinx - maggie glynenhall isn't)
2. Haven't read the trilogy yet but this movie certainly looks awesome. Will start reading trilogy soon.
3. Has anybody else read the trilogy?

I've read it. I say the first book is really good, not great. The next two are better. Second one is best imo. There are some cool twists and turns, and the trailer does a good job capturing the otherworldy feel of everything. Looks solid. Really spare writing style. Portman is an an...interesting choice I guess, for the biologist? (In the book, no names. I guess that doesn't fly in the movie business). I'm just glad Alex Garland is getting more work.

If you haven't already I suggest reading "Borne." I like Vandemeer's writing style.

I've got that one on the pile. The pile is too deep. :(

Judging from the trailer the movie will have parts from the first two books? Not sure how that works considering the movie title....? Oh well.
