The Handmaid's Tale

I'm told this is a Hulu series, but naturally I torrented it.

Extremely well-done show. The tone, the sets, the music, the casting... altogether phenomenal. The first episode was terrifying all the way through but then at the end they give you a just a glimpse of hope.

I highly suggest this. Was not expecting that I'd like it, but it is very, very good.

It's pretty well done. We've watched em all so far. It's been such a long time since I read the book I don't know how far the tv show has strayed from the book. I'll be surprised if Elizabeth Moss doesn't win an emmy.

I still haven't read it, but that is largely because I can't bring myself to read anything by Margaret Atwood. I don't have anything against her and I'm told she is fantastic, but she looms so large in Canada that I'm kind of biased going into it.

Really enjoyed it as well. It's where I picture us going if Pence gains the Presidency.

Pulled down the awards for best drama, best director, and best actress. All richly deserved. I was sure The Crown would soak up best drama.
