naw just ride on it together. i dont think it breaks. although maybe i just never made it break

whats interesting is that Yen is not really introduced in the game until Witcher 3. Geralt has been looking for her, and has some flashbacks, but he never catches up with her until 3. and then she's all "oh you lost your memory huh, what a lame excuse" and the whole time you were (probably) doing Triss. because of this Yen at some point goes into a jealous fit about red hair in the bed. so later when the player is presented to be between either of them, a video game player would probably take Triss not Yen. well, there's also trying to have both, which makes for an... interesting cut scene

How do you pick Triss in 3? After that whole sequence on the ship on top of a mountain? Yen's a way better character.

I wonder if the new TV show will also cause him loss of business

probably not though, i'm sure he learned his lesson and will be taking in royalties so i'm sure he'll have nothing but glowing things to say

I'm on the last book of the series. Only criticism of the actual novels is holy shit there are a lot of secondary characters to keep track of, but still good reads.

Going to be starting the very last Fitz book (Assassin's Fate) by Robin Hobb after that, reread all the book in the series, including the Rain Wild Chronicles and Liveship Trilogy last year.

Interesting. Producers are the ones doing The Expanse, which is the best scifi show since BSG. Could be legit.

If it follows the usual TV pattern, they'll find a way to make Geralt a 20-something with daddy issues.
