Nope, didn't see the game. I read a bit about it in the newspaper though and what you say lines up with what they are saying. A strong first period for the Leafs followed by a slow decline as the experienced Caps roster kept the pressure on and didn't let up.

The nice thing about being a Leafs fan is that you have literally zero expectations. I imagine this is how Philly feels.

I dunno why we're playing Orpki. Schmidty should be getting reps this series. he's faster and it will keep our D fresh for a playoff run. orpki looks like a goddamn cone out there. Nylander made him look like a ECHL burnout twice on the same shift.

Calvert should be suspended for a long, long time, as far as I'm concerned. If they are going to go with the instigator rule, and prevent this guy from getting his face just brutalized, then the punishments for cheap shots need to huge.
