It was clean. A little late but a fine hit nonetheless. Definitely should not have gotten a tripping penalty. In no universe can that be considered tripping.

I wouldn't be so quick to count the Leafs out. They have always been a long shot, but this series is not over. Last night was a close game and both teams seem to have settled down a bit - if the Leafs can get going from puck drop, on home ice, the Caps are going to be in for a tough game. I can guarantee the crowd is going to be a hugely energizing presence and if these young guys still have the hunger, they will be bringing their best.

If the Caps win, it will be a well-earned win, and not the washout it was supposed to be.

Last I heard he is alert at the hospital. I think he might have been knocked unconscious. He didn't move for a minute or two at all, nothing.
