It seems like America is quickly becoming an valueless society. Bullying is prevalent. I hear people demean and belittle others constantly. I hear people only care about climbing the corporate ladder. It is clear now that our nation needs values! I think if we want to change America we should start with the youth. Today's youth are increasingly selfish and materialistic. There is some youth in my neighborhood who are polite and selfless. One thing in common with these youth is that they are part of youth groups that teach values. They were part of CAP and their high school's JROTC program. The CAP and JROTC programs in my area are small but from what I can tell these youth are among America's best citizens. We need to expand the CAP and JROTC programs in our schools and to places where youth comprise an big percentage of the population.
