I'm cool with the discussion, but this really isn't a General Discussion topic. Moving to Philosophy as it doesn't really fit in anywhere else.

What the article posted is saying is you need to have order before you can have libertarianism, and a people that would be guaranteed to embrace it.

I totally get his point, because it's obvious that right now...we don't have that kind of people here in the USA. But then he talks about imprisoning leftists & all that...that's where he loses me.

The frustration is understandable, but I would not advocate his solution...even if it has the possibility of working.

Well seeing as how the goal of the exercise would be to implement libertarianism, it has no possibility to begin with, let alone with his proposed tactics.

It's only bad because they lost the war. If the fascists have won, fascism would be glorious. Even if they eventually kill Hitler and turn the world into a model of democracy, it would still be called fascism.
Sigmund Freud defined four parts of a psyche; the id, the ego, the superego and the stratego. The Stratego being the highest form of morality and scientific thinking.

It wouldn't because one of the fundamental definitions of fascism is authoritarianism.
