There are differences in predictive power at play here. The arena of political actors and action is far too complex to lend itself to very accurate, long-term predictions. Coupled with this, the fact that politics can swing pendulum like at nearly a moments notice, absolute predictions are ill advised.

With dwbh we have a consistent behavioral pattern that, so far as I know, has never been deviated from.

It's the difference between making a prediction based upon linear data and nonlinear. No comparison.

To be fair, most politicians do seem to be lying, self-serving assholes. But then again, so do most people. So I dunno.

Sure, but there are always counterexamples. Absolute generalizations one way or the other is child's play.
