I would advise against posting nude photos of yourself if you are worried about them leaking. Some people don't care whether they leak or not, but that's not true for most people...

You must not be aware of the circumstances of "the fappening". Nude pictures were not "posted" to any public platform. They were taken on private devices, stored in private accounts and only shared to other private accounts. A private account and a private account sharing contents with another private account is not posting anything to the global public platform.

What took place is the equivalent of entering someone's house without their permission and taking pictures out of their photo albums, making copies of them in a copy machine and taking, stealing, the copies while leaving the originals in the album. B&E and theft. If the pictures were of the residents nude and they were posted all over the world in public. How is that the homeowners fault?

Your implication, which is becoming menacing in conjunction with the implications which you have drawn within the thread you started and have discussed with Saz, is that people are not safe to have personal freedom and safety. There is a dark air of totalitarianism to some of your post's underlying ideology. Hopefully you are not expressing your actual views as articulately as you wish. It seems as though you only were not fully aware of what had taken place. That would be preferable. An instance of simply needing to be properly informed.

It's not a "fight" that I can be bothered to "fight".

If, like me, you wouldn't be comfortable sharing nude photos of yourself, you might consider that when you go through an airport more likely than not the scanners they have you go through are literally taking nude photos of you and those photos may be shared as easily as those nude photos any private citizen takes of themselves on their phone or PC or anything connected online.

That's a bitter pill if you want to insist in your sigline.

It's a shame that privacy has been so violated, but it's not something that I spend energy on. As I said, I'm post-cynical. It will either become better or worse or it will or will not. I will simply not allow for it to bother my life.

I told you, I literally don't care. I'm not trying to hide anything and I'm not fighting to hide anything. If I have anything that anyone, let alone the government, has a problem with, come 'round. I'll be home. Tell me all about the alleged problem. There isn't one. There won't be anyone comin' 'round.

I do not care about the "dark web." I. do. not. care. If a violent, deranged criminal comes to my house for a visit it is not in anyone's best interest. The authorities won't be coming around unless they are canvassing for witnesses to a local crime and I would be more than happy to tell them any and everything that I know of and have witnessed regarding the nature of their investigation. Thankfully I am not aware of anything extraordinary happening near my living quarters.
