I don't think I will ever worry about salaries for cops. The work they do and the crappy people they have to deal with is worth what we pay them. But stuff like this http://www.washingtontimes.com/news/201 ... nion-work/ bothers me.

I have to say, making 45k in New York doesn't sound like much. That is next to nothing in Toronto. My brother in law is a border guard and makes like 70k.
