Interesting. It makes sense to me as I often argue that the New Testament calls for socialism, literally (Acts 2 and so on).

I tried reading the bible once, I don't think I made through the book of genesis. Almost as bad as reading parts of Cloud Atlas.

i imagine if you read the bible by yourself you realize how incredibly retarded it is to believe most of that shit literally.

Or that if you read anything by yourself you're less likely to have a social life so you care less about things such as the Patriot Act that benefit other Americans.
Sigmund Freud defined four parts of a psyche; the id, the ego, the superego and the stratego. The Stratego being the highest form of morality and scientific thinking.
If guns are not outlawed, the in-laws will have guns.

The issue here isn't about the Bible. It's about anti-social behavior.
