The idea that kings are gods and the concept of divine right of kings are entirely different concepts. God kings, the idea that the king is an avatar of a god, were a feature of ancient pre-christian civilizations, such as Egypt, Greece, or Rome.
The divine right of kings is an innovation that came into play in the Christian era, with Christian kings claiming descent from the ancient kings of Israel. As soon as Christianity was introduced in Europe as a matter of fact.
A fact which I just pointed out and you ignored.

They didn't claim the christian concept of divine right of kings until Clovis adopted Christianity. Then after that all Christian kings in Europe claimed the same thing.
The idea that the christian god chooses the human king is an undeniable part of part of Christian Europe's history.
