How about that iPad Pro?

I love that the cartoon has the copyright date on it.

I was actually expecting a lot more from this thing. I kinda hoped (without real expectation) that this would be the moment Apple would wow everyone by copying Windows 10 and working a "tablet mode" into an X86 ipad Pro with OSX.

But no...they just made the ipad larger. Still a silly little phone OS. Just a big nothing.

Now watch as they sell millions of them.

Combine the 32 gig ipad pro with the common accessories (cover, stylus) and you're well over a thousand bucks. And without a real OS.

MS has the opportunity to comprehensively shit all over Apple with the forthcoming cheaper and doubtless far superior Surface Pro 4. Not that sales will reflect it.

Apple could have built a monster if it had been running OSX.

I find it laughable they called their stylus the apple pencil......a f**k PENCIL!

You know what would be cool? iModule!!!

When companies release their hardwares, sometimes they upgrade the processor, sometimes the screen.

What if they separate the two? You have a screen and a separate tower that does the processing. Then you just connect the two using Apple's latest Siri-O port.

I'm getting the iPad Pro and dat sweet sweet stylus. OSX would be nice but they can probably do an update or something who knows.

I just recently upgraded our company's tablet PCs. We're still in the process of converting but we're going from Motion 1700s to Motion J3500s.

The biggest problem for tablets for us is that none of them have a detachable battery. If we're doing GPS work, we'd have to have 2 units (or more) per person and that just isn't very practical. The stylus is still a must for our work as well - I couldn't imagine trying to do it with a touch screen. Not nearly accurate enough.

I find it hilarious that Apple went from stylus-shaming to having one for $100. Glad I can get ours for about $20 on ebay heh.
